Mrs. Leslie Cristea MBA

Leslie Cristea, an Instrument of Restoration, is Founder of Making Marriage Matter, LLC. She’s a retired Navy Veteran, speaker, trainer, facilitator, and a relationship & communication expert. During her military career, her service extended, beyond her normal duties, in the area of community and social service. Those services included her roles as a sexual assault advocate, and volunteering in many community initiatives. Mrs. Cristea earned her BS in Psychology, with a minor in exercise science, all while suffering in silence as a victim of domestic violence, undergoing a long and difficult divorce, and continuing her priorities in leading sailors and caring for her children. After not only inviting The Lord into her life and second marriage, Leslie also invited him into her life plan while seeking her purpose. Realizing her love for serving and supporting others was part of that plan, her post-military career earned her more than five years experience speaking and training on numerous leadership and life skills topics and being responsible for programs designed to enhance relationships and prevention of family violence. During that time, she furthered her education to receive an MBA and found herself applying her career experience and Gods test to her testimony (current marriage). Mrs. Cristea is a seasoned human service professional. She is also a member of the Hampton Roads Military & Civilian Family Violence Prevention Council planning committee, in Virginia. Leslie is also a lifetime member of Woman’s Veterans Interactive and is a trained mediator. Mrs. Cristea specializes in personal and professional relationships. She is a lover of The Lord, wife, mother of two, and passionate about helping others improve communication in order to RESTORE troubled relationships with self and others. Leslie has found that many times broken marriages present with only ONE working to fix it, and although it takes two to be in a relationship, it is possible for one to change the dynamic. Her primary goal is to help individuals truly “commit to commitment” by making marriage matter with education, communication, and faith.
